Ref 8113 - Antique French Mirror - Large gilt on red crested Louis Philippe antique mirror with flower and leaf etching to outer frame and gesso decoration to inner edge. Finished in mellow gilt worn through to red bole in places. Two filled horizontal marks above the bottom rail where the frame has been remodelled in the past (see close up). Original  glass with some faint patination spots. Later black painted composite back. Circa 1850.
